Admission to Kingsway

At Kingsway, we believe that parents are an integral part of
their child’s education process. Working with members of your
school’s child study team, parents can request information on
private special education schools to help make an informed
decision regarding your child’s education. The final referral to
Kingsway elementary and secondary programs comes from the
school’s child study team in your local school district.

A Word About
Private Special Education

Kingsway is a private special education school,
but families do not pay tuition for their child,
ages five to 21, to attend the Kingsway elementary
or secondary programs. In New Jersey, all
special education services—including placement in
a private school—are funded through a combination
of federal, state and local tax dollars. Using
this funding, your school district pays the costs of
tuition and transportation for private special education
schools.

Please go to the Early Intervention Program page
for information regarding costs for children birth
to 3 years old.
