Related Services

Academics go hand-in-hand with
therapeutic programs at
Kingsway. Both our elementary
and secondary programs provide
on-site related services, enabling
students to benefit from a host of
interventions in accordance with
their IEPs.

• Speech-Language Therapy: All children need the ability
  to express themselves, share their thoughts, and
  communicate their feelings. Speech-language specialists
  at Kingsway provide students with the skills they need
  to successfully communicate.
  
  
• Physical Therapy: School-based physical therapy is provided
  by licensed, school-certified physical therapists who work in
  collaboration with the educational team.
  
  
• Occupational Therapy: The Kingsway occupational therapy
  staff is dedicated to helping our students succeed, by focusing
  on improving fine motor skills, sensory processing skills and
  classroom organization skills. Secondary students also learn
  skills for independent living.

• Counseling Services: Valuable group counseling sessions help
  secondary students develop social skills as well as adapt
  to workplace situations.
  
  
• Nursing Services: The Kingsway nursing staff provide continuity
  between home, medical community and school in meeting the
  often complex medical needs of our students.
